Develop skills in making a Handmade Silver Gemstone Pendant or Ring. This introductory class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn or refresh the fundamental skills involved in making jewelry and metalsmithing. From beginner to advanced, you will grow knowledge and develop skills and before long you will be creating one-of-a-kind Art Jewelry. We will be working in Sterling Silver and each student will be guided through the step-by-step process of making a Pendant or Ring.

All materials are included in price to make a Pendant except the Gemstone Cabochon. You may bring your own Cabochon or purchase one the day of the class. Additional supplies are available to purchase.

Skills covered will include sawing, shaping, filing, hammered textures, soldering with a gas fueled torch, and bezel setting a Cabochon stone. This exciting interactive class includes many demonstrations and lots of hands-on work, but you will be taking home a finished handmade Pendant. Tools will be provided for use in class. Additional metal, stones and tool kits are available for purchase after the class.

* This class is 4-5 hours in length so please bring water and a snack.
