Metal in Motion: Sawing, Texturizing and Creating Jewelry

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the essentials of sawing and cutting metal using a jeweler’s saw. We’ll be working with brass or copper, with the option to upgrade to sterling silver for an additional cost. You’ll explore a variety of texturing and stamping techniques to bring unique character to your pieces, and if time allows, you’ll even have the opportunity to solder a bezel and set a stone (not included in class fee). By the end of class, you’ll leave with a solid foundation in sawing, texturing,  and jewelry design, along with a finished piece that reflects your own style. You will also leave with a pair of earrings or a couple pendants.  *All materials are included in the workshop except Sterling Silver and stones.
