Develop skills in making a Handmade Silver Gemstone Pendant or Ring. This introductory class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn or refresh the fundamental skills involved in making jewelry and metalsmithing. From beginner to advanced, you will grow knowledge and develop skills and before long you will be creating one-of-a-kind Art Jewelry. We will be working in Sterling Silver and each student will be guided through the step-by-step process of making a Pendant or Ring.

*All Materials Included except your Cabochon Gemstone. You may bring your own or purchase one from us. Price of Cabs range from $10-$100.

(Price also includes credit card and website fees so if you would like to pay in person by check or cash please contact the shop that is hosting the class).

Skills covered will include sawing, shaping, filing, hammered textures, soldering with a gas fueled torch, and bezel setting a Cabochon stone. This exciting interactive class includes many demonstrations and lots of hands-on work, but you will be taking home a finished handmade Pendant. Tools will be provided for use in class. Additional metal, stones and tool kits are available for purchase after the class.

* 4.5 hour class but sometimes we can go over so allow yourself an extra hour to finish your project. ( bring water and a snack)
